ST. LOUIS – Four members of the UNI Panther volleyball team received Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete accolades with Emily Holterhaus earning Scholar-Athlete First Team distinction and Payton Ahrenstorff, Inga Rotto, and Carly Spies picking up Scholar-Athlete Honorable Mention nods.
All 10 league programs were represented with 22 different individuals recognized this season for their academic and athletic performance. UNI's four selections matched Valparaiso for the best team total in the conference and also represent the highest number of Panthers chosen since having five picks in 2012 (Amy Braun, Shelby Kintzel, Megan Lehman, Macy Ubben, Jenny Willms).
