ST. LOUIS – UNI men's track was picked second, and the Panther women were picked fourth in the preseason indoor track and field poll released Wednesday.
The Panthers return 2018 outdoor All-American Jacob Smith who redshirted last season outdoor season for UNI. He recorded the second-best 400-hurdle time in school history en route to his All-American finish.
Panther squad that returns three of four members of the conference champion 400-meter relay team. In the field events, UNI brings the Panther Indoor shot put record holder in Keegan Tritle and outdoor shot put national champion qualifier, Darius King.
