Minneapolis - McKayla Cole made her first appearance this season and finished a team-high 36th with a time 22:34.9 to pace the UNI women's cross country team to a 13th-place finish. Wal Khat finished 31st with a time of 25:36.6 to the UNI men to an 11th place finish at the Griak invite in Minneapolis.
Freshman Cassady Inhs finished 60th with a time of 23:09.1 and Katie Nimrod placed 65th with a time of 23:14.1. Junior Tess Roorda finished the course in a time of 23:18.9 and sophomore Paige Holub closed out the scoring with a time of 23:32.
