CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- The 2022 edition of Rally in the Valley posted another strong year of fundraising for UNI student-athlete scholarships, with $217,200 raised during the April 24 event at the McLeod Center.
Returning to an in-person event for the first time since 2019, the $217,200 raised is the third highest total recorded since Rally in the Valley began in 2008.
"I am thankful to our community and supporters for their contributions toward our student-athletes," said Nathaniel Smith, director of athletics annual giving and tickets. "To be able to raise what we did after the two-year hiatus says a lot about the passion and commitment our patrons have for their student-athletes.
