COLUMBIA, Mo. --- Kate Crawford and Payton Marrs led the Panther field as UNI cross country competed at the Gans Creek Classic on Friday morning, hosted by the University of Missouri.
The UNI women's team finished in 12th place in the 24-team field with 366 points, while the men took 17th place out of 22 teams competing with 475 points.
Crawford was the first Panther to cross the finish line in the women's 6K race on Friday in 59th place out of 240 runners with a time of 21:44, a 3 second improvement from her time on the same course a year ago.
