CEDAR FALLS — The Northern Iowa wrestling team is all kinds of intriguing entering the 2021-22 season.
There’s a bunch of returning experience, in the form of six NCAA qualifiers from last year who are all back again this season. Five of them won a match at the 2021 national tournament, and one, Parker Keckeisen, earned All-America honors.
But there’s also some intriguing lineup battles at the other weights worth monitoring as the season unfolds. There are some exciting prospects in the room as well as some well-known commodities who will contend for starting spots.
