The Northern Iowa wrestling team fell short in its first home dual of the 2018-19 season.
The 20th-ranked Panthers fell to 18th-ranked Cornell, 21-14, on Sunday before 1,541 inside the West Gym in Cedar Falls. Northern Iowa drops to 1-2 on the year while the Big Red improve to 3-0.
Cornell took six of 10 matches, including the final three, to come from behind and beat Northern Iowa.
