It's still unclear whether the leagues that opted for spring college football made a hasty or necessary decision. But the Missouri Valley Football Conference has at least locked in an outline for how it plans to move forward.
The MVFC released its official 2021 spring schedule Thursday, featuring eight games ahead of the FCS playoffs that are scheduled to start April 24. For Northern Iowa — the state's only Division I scholarship program not playing this fall — the Panthers will have four home games and four road games, as well as a bye week.
