CINCINNATI, Ohio - The No. 9-ranked Xavier Musketeers stayed perfect on the season with a 64-42 home win over the University of Northern Iowa Panthers Saturday in the Cintas Center.
Xavier (6-0 overall) held UNI to 12 first-half points and limited the Panthers to 32.6 percent shooting from the floor in a rematch of the Tire Pros Invitational championship from this past Sunday in Orlando.
UNI (3-2 overall) was led in scoring by Jeremy Morgan, who tallied all 14 of his points in the second half. Morgan added four blocks, three steals and three rebounds to stuff his stat line.
