A new "American Underdog" trailer shows the struggles Iowa native Kurt Warner went through in his journey to the NFL.
The film stars Zachary Levi as Warner, who went from stocking shelves at a Hy-Vee in Cedar Falls to Super Bowl MVP for the St. Louis Rams.
"I promised to take care of you and the kids — and that's exactly what I'm going to do," Levi tells Anna Paquin, who plays Warner's wife, Brenda, in the trailer.
Born in Burlington, Warner attended Regis High School in Cedar Rapids before playing football at Northern Iowa.
