AZUSA, Calif. — UNI track and field wrapped up an active four-meet weekend late Saturday night as Panthers Carter Morton and Drake Hanson competed at the Bryan Clay Invitational on the Azusa Pacific University campus.
Morton, the Most Valuable Athlete from February's Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Indoor Championships, competed in his first decathlon of the outdoor season beginning on Thursday at Cougar Athletic Stadium. The Panther junior recorded career-best marks in three of the decathlon's ten events, including the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.05 seconds, the discus with a toss of 33.
