For the second time this season, University of Northern Iowa senior guard Jeremy Morgan has been honored as the Missouri Valley Conference's men's basketball player of the week.
Morgan (Coralville, Iowa/Iowa City West HS) poured in a career-high 38 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in leading UNI to a 78-70 win over North Dakota Saturday in the McLeod Center. Morgan scored all 38 of his points in the second half and led the Panthers to a comeback victory after trailing by four points at the break. Morgan made 10-of-17 shots from the field and 16-of-22 at the foul line as he posted his fourth career double-double.
