CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The Missouri State Bears served up a 3-2 victory over the University of Northern Iowa volleyball on Friday at the McLeod Center. The Bears won by set scores of 26-24, 25-21, 20-25, 19-25, 15-13.
The Bears (10-7 overall, 1-2 MVC) snapped a streak of 27 straight losses in Cedar Falls with the five-set win. MSU's Lily Johnson tallied a match-high 25 kills. The Panthers (10-7 overall, 1-3 MVC) got a team-high 21 kills from Bri Weber.
UNI's Kayla Haneline registered her 1,000th career kill in the match as she tied the the final set at 13-13.
