DELAND, Florida - The UNI men's golf team fell 8-4 to the Bradley Braves in an exhibition medal match play event on Friday at Black Bear Golf Club.
Unlike regular match play, medal match play allows each golfer to compete all 18 holes with a single point awarded to the golfer with the lowest score, ties receive a half point apiece and the golfer with the higher score receives no points.
The Panthers won four head to head matchups on the day against a formidable Bradley team. Sophomore Parker Oleson (Armstrong, Iowa) picked up a first round victory with a 71 but dropped the second round after finishing with an 80.
