BOULDER, Colorado – The UNI men's basketball team took on the Buffaloes of Colorado, defeating the #23 Buffaloes 79-76.
Panthers led 9-3 early in the first half before Colorado's Lucas Siewert scored 15 points in just over 3 minutes of play and gave the Buffalos a 5 point lead. The Panthers entered halftime leading the Buffalo by one. Statistically both teams where even, each shooting just over 38 percent from the field and knocking down five three pointers. The Buffaloes knocked down 7 of 8 free throws while the Panthers made 4-5.
The Panthers opened the second half on fire, going out to a 12 point lead just two minutes into the half.
