VALPARAISO, Indiana – The men's basketball team took on the Crusaders of Valparaiso University in the Athletics-Recreation Center Saturday afternoon. The Panthers fell to the Crusaders 75-66 and dropped to 8-11 overall and 3-3 in the MVC.
The Panthers started slow in the first half, trailing the Crusaders by as many as eleven points. Making four three pointers down the stretch the UNI closed the lead to three. Valparaiso entered halftime leading the Panthers 36-30.
The Panthers were unable to put together runs to start the second half and trailed by double digits just minutes after the break.
