CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- The University of Northern Iowa's annual day of giving, "Live Purple, Give Gold," will kick off on Thursday, March 30 in a 24-hour campaign to help support various areas of UNI, including Panther athletics.
"This year we decided to do something a little different for this special day," said Director of Athletics David Harris. "We are offering our fans and supporters the opportunity to donate directly to the sport of their choice. In previous years, donating to the overall department was the only opportunity. We understand that many people have great passion for a particular sport based on relationships, previous experience or their own athletics interests.
