Knodle Breaks Heptathlon Record, Earns All-America

EUGENE, Ore. – University of Northern Iowa senior Paige Knodle earned first-team All-America honors today after her eighth place finish in the heptathlon, wrapping up a fantastic outing for the Panthers at the 2016 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Knodle shattered the UNI record in the heptathlon, gaining 5,833 points to finish eighth and score points on a national level. It is the second time in Knodle's career that she has earned first-team All-America honors, also finishing in the top-eight (fourth overall) in the heptathlon at the NCAA Championships in 2014.
