On Tuesday guard Jordan Ashton announced that he would be transferring out of the Iowa State basketball program.
The Iowa native won’t be going far.
Posting on Instagram, Ashton wrote of his intention to transfer to Northern Iowa.
“With my final year of college basketball approaching, I had to make a tough decision,” Ashton wrote.
“I’ve decided that I will be transferring from Iowa State for my senior season. I know this is the best decision for me and my future. I enjoyed my time at ISU, I had a great experience, and I want to thank everyone who made this year special.
