AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State women's tennis team recorded a 4-0 win over the University of Northern Iowa Friday at the Ames Racquet and Fitness Club.
Iowa State improved to 8-1 overall, while UNI dropped to 1-5 on the season.
UNI's No. 3 doubles team of Sydney Wolfe and Eve Small scored a tiebreaker win over Iowa State's tandem of Regina Espindola and Ana Gasparovic, 7-6 (7-4). The win moved the mark of Wolfe and Small to 2-0 in doubles action this dual season.
However, Iowa State's top two doubles teams notched wins to secure the doubles' point for the Cyclones.
