The future is now for Northern Iowa wrestling.
And that means former Iowa high school star Max Thomsen is ready to win more at the next level.
The four-time state champion from Union of LaPorte City has found his form early in Cedar Falls and enters Thursday morning’s NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships as the highest-seeded Panther in the field.
“I’ve just had new experiences and new challenges all throughout the season, with competition and preparation,” Thomsen told the Register on Tuesday.
