It was another tremendous high school wrestling season.
For the first time since 2004, three teams won State Duals titles on Wednesday, then three different teams won the traditional state tournaments three days later. Another talented wave of youth wrestlers butted heads against a gifted outgoing group of seniors.
That mix of talent is reflected in this year's Des Moines Register All-Iowa Wrestling Teams.
All four grade-levels are reflected on this year's Elite Team, the picks we consider to be the state's best of the best, regardless of class. But we've also included wrestlers from all three classes, because there was so much talent in every direction this season.
