University of Northern Iowa senior middle hitter Kayla Haneline has earned first-team all-Central region honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
It marks the third straight season that Haneline has earned all-Central region accolades from the AVCA. Haneline was an honorable mention all-Central region selection in 2014 and 2015.
Haneline (Plattsmouth, Neb.) led the Panthers to the NCAA Tournament for a second straight season and 20th time in program history. Haneline tallied a team-best .312 hitting percentage. She ranked second on the squad in kills (372) and blocks (103). She ranked third on the team in service aces (20).
