CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- College Sports Communicators (formerly known as CoSIDA) announced its 2022-23 Academic All-District Teams this week, including the recognition of four UNI women's basketball players for their academic success.
The College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Guards Maya McDermott and Emerson Green, forward Grace Boffeli, and center Cynthia Wolf were selected to this year's All-District Team.
Nomination criteria include holding a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better, being a sophomore standing or higher both academically and athletically and playing a key role in the lineup with participation in at least half of all scheduled team competitions.
