HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. – Four Panthers advanced to semifinals, four Panthers remain in the consolation brackets and the Panthers are in second place at the Midlands Championships at Sears Centre Arena in the Chicagoland Arena.
Taylor Lujan picked up a pair of wins in the first two rounds at 184 before advancing to the semifinal with a 7-3 win over Wisconsin's Johnny Sebastian in the quarters. He will face fifth-seeded Andrew Morgan from Campbell in the semifinal bout.
At 149, Max Thomsen picked up the technical fall in his first bout 16-0.
