STATS – The University of Northern Iowa football program was honored today after earning four spots on the STATS FCS All-America teams.
Senior Deiondre' Hall was named to the first-team, while Karter Schult and Brett McMakin both earned second-team honors. Senior cornerback and return specialist Makinton Dorleant was named to the third-team for his strong punt return game this season. Hall is the 17th player in UNI history named to the STATS FCS All-America first-team, formerly known as the Sports Network All-America team.
Hall, who was also named to the College Sports Madness All-America first-team, was selected as the Missouri Valley Football Conference Defensive Player of the Year for his outstanding senior campaign.
