CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI track and field recorded five first-place finishes, including freshman Jack Sumners who moved into the top five on the UNI all-time list with a jump of 7.46-meters. Sumners also moved into second-place in the MVC in the league standings Friday at the Jack Jennett Open.
Isaiah Trousil and Tayshaun Cooper went 1-2 in the 60-meter dash and with a time of 6.82. The duo were separated by just 2/1000ths of a second. Trousil tallied a time of 6.816 and Cooper had a time of 6.
