CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The National Wrestling Coaches Association named Taylor Lujan and Bryce Steiert First-Team All-Americans and Michael Blockhus, Max Thomsen and Carter Isley Honorable Mention All-Americans, Friday.
The NWCA recognizes the outstanding work of the DI Student-Athletes by naming the All-Americans based on their achievements in the NCAA National Championship. This year, due to the cancelation of the championship because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the association awarded All-American honors based on each wrestler's overall body of work through the conference tournaments.
Lujan finished the season on a 19-bout win streak and was named the top seed in the NCAA Championship.
