The Missouri Valley Conference announced today that ESPN has designated networks for two MVC men's basketball telecasts for the first weekend in January.
On Sunday, Jan. 8, ESPN has confirmed that Wichita State at UNI will air on ESPNU at 3 p.m. (CT). A second MVC game that day will air on The Valley on ESPN3, featuring Evansville at Drake. Start time is also 3 p.m. (CT).
Wichita State and UNI both have reached the NCAA Tournament in each of the past two seasons, combining for six tourney wins. The Panthers are two-time defending State Farm MVC Tournament champions and the Shockers are three-time defending MVC regular-season champs.
