College football: No. 1 NDSU pulls away for 56-31 win over No. 22 UNI

CEDAR FALLS -- Top-ranked North Dakota State scored 28 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to pull away for a 56-31 victory over No. 22 Northern Iowa Saturday at the UNI-Dome.

Stick added touchdown runs of 1 and 31 later in the fourth quarter, as the Bison rushed for 344 yards on 48 carries, averaging 7.2 yards per rush.

Anderson rushed for 172 yards, and Waterloo native Lance Dunn added 104 on 17 carries. Dunn also caught a 3-yard touchdown pass in the first half.

Eli Dunne passed for 362 yards and three scores for the Panthers (2-3, 1-1).
