Carnes continues to blaze through the competition this season, winning the 60 and 200 meter dashes at the Big 4 Duals on Saturday, Jan. 23.
He ran a time of 6.70 in the 60 meter dash finals, just off his school record time of 6.69. It was the second time this season he has run a 6.70 in the 60, putting himself at the top of the conference and ranked in the top-20 in Division I track and field.
The Bradenton, Fla. native also ran the 200 meters for the first time this season at the Big 4
Duals, turning in a time of 21.
