HERO SPORTS - Defensive back Elijah Campbell has earned a spot on the Hero Sports 2016 FCS Sophomore All-America first-team, it was announced today.
The team is chosen by the Hero Sports staff and is in its first year as part of the All-America recognition across the country. This is Campbell's first All-America honor after his first season with the Panthers. The St. Paul, Minn., native transferred to UNI from Northern Illinois University.
Campbell quickly made an impact for the Panthers on the defensive side of the ball, starting all 11 games at cornerback.
