CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa track and field program wrapped up the first day of competition at the 2016 NCAA Division I Track and Field Championships today, bringing home two All-America honors.
Senior Justin Baker kept his record breaking season going, capturing the UNI hammer throw record for the fourth time this season. The Sioux City, Iowa native capped off an incredible career with a mark of 215-09.00 for 15th overall and second-team All-America honors.
Baker wraps up his career with five all-conference honors, two NCAA Championship appearances and three NCAA West Preliminary Round showings.
