ST. LOUIS – UNI's AJ Green is named MVC Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Green averaged 22.5 points in two wins last week, including a 20-point game in leading the Panthers over #23/24 Colorado. Green finished the week shooting 48% from the field (13-of-27), hauled in eight rebounds, recorded five assists and added four steals. Green was 6-of-16 from the field against Colorado, knocking down five threes and recording four assists.
Two days later Green helped the Panthers move to 10-1 on the season with a 25-point performance against Grand Canyon.
