One of the state's most explosive athletes has found a home in Cedar Falls.
Solon 2020 wide receiver Jace Andregg committed to Northern Iowa Wednesday afternoon, he announced via Twitter. Andregg, who transferred from Cedar Rapids Prairie to Solon earlier this year, picked the Panthers over offers from North Dakota, South Dakota State and others.
"Committed to the University of Northern Iowa!," Andregg wrote in his announcement. Thank you to the whole coaching staff throughout this process!"
Although Andregg's offers were all FCS, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound wide receiver had been on Power Five radars for some time.
