DeKalb — The women’s golf team wrapped up its regular season Sunday at the Lady Boilermaker Invitational with a fourth place overall finish.

The Huskies finished behind Augusta, Texas Tech and No. 21 ranked Perdue in the tournament and defeated Butler and Ball State.

The high point of the weekend for the Huskies was shooting a 289 in round two, which ranks as the best score in program history.

Junior Brielle Ward shot a one-under-par round of 71 and sophomore Isabella Samudio fired a career-best round of 67.

“A lot of positive to take away from the event,” said head coach Kim Kester.
