DeKALB – Making the move from safety to linebacker last season, redshirt sophomore Juwaun Johnson admits with a laugh that he had to get by on pure athleticism.
Now with 13 games under his belt as an outside linebacker for the Huskies, Johnson said he's more prepared for what to expect – and has even come to enjoy the position.
"Last year, I just got by on athleticism, I wasn't sure exactly what I should do," Johnson said. "I was just playing off what I felt. I feel like I'm doing better this year, knowing my plays.
