The Northern Illinois football team announced its 2016 non-conference schedule and home and away conference opponents on Monday – with Huskie Stadium getting a rematch of the past three Mid-American Conference Championships.
Bowling Green, which defeated the Huskies 34-14 in the 2015 MAC Championship in Detroit, and Buffalo are the two MAC East teams that will play at Huskie Stadium this season. The Huskies will play at Kent State in the other crossover game.
