DeKALB -- Men’s tennis picked up its second Mid-American Conference win of the season Sunday with a 5-2 win over Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. The first time these teams matched up this season NIU fell 2-5 to the Cardinals.
First-year Mikko Malinen and sophomore Victor Spolidorio fell to seniors Marko Guzina and Nemanja Guzina for the second time this season. The match was played close with a final score of 5-6.
First-year David Pata and junior Bor Schweiger Muzar defeated senior Tom Carney and sophomore Thibault De Negri 7-5, for the second time this season.
