The track and field team continued their Mid-American Conference qualifying run when first-year multi-event runner Taylor Ramsey and sophomore Mackenzie Callahan both qualified for the MAC Championship Friday in the Grand Valley State University Big Meet.
Ramsey posted a mark of 1.69 meters in the high jump, earning her a first-overall finish. Callahan placed sixth in the mile, posting a time of 4:51.26 minutes.
Ramsey continued her impressive meet by placing fifth in the long jump with a high mark of 5.55 meters. Head Coach Connie Teaberry said she was impressed with Ramsey’s scores for the day.
