Playing in the No. 1 slot for the Huskies, junior Kelly Anderson paced the women’s golf team with a third place overall finish Tuesday in the Battle at Boulder Creek.
The Huskies finished second overall in the tournament behind four top-20 finishes, including Anderson (81-71-74 - 226) shooting a final round of 74.
“We’re so happy to see Kelly have a good tournament,” said Head Coach Kim Kester. “It was great to see her close out her round under par [Monday]. She is playing some good golf right now, and we know she will continue to improve this spring.
