With Kansas' decision to fire head coach David Beaty a little less than four years into his tenure atop the Jayhawks football program, focus inevitably shifts to potential replacements.
Yahoo Sports' Pete Thamel put together a list of 10 top candidates for the job, and the first coach listed is a familiar name for DFW college football fans: current UNT coach Seth Littrell.
"He's the best regional fit for recruiting and schematic fit for the league, and he would bring the energy and experience necessary for the job," Thamel wrote. "He's led North Texas to three straight bowl games, and blowouts of Arkansas and SMU opened some eyes this season.
