UAB may have put a stranglehold on the division instead with a 29-21 win at Legion Field.
The Blazers came storming back from a 21-10 first-half deficit to beat the Mean Green and improve to 4-0 in C-USA play.
The Blazers already have beaten Louisiana Tech in addition to UNT (6-2, 2-2) to give them the head-to-head tiebreaker on both teams.
