LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Loren Easly made his third start of the season and came up with the best performance of his time at North Texas in the Mean Green's win over Liberty.
Easly finished with 177 yards rushing and two touchdowns in North Texas' 47-7 victory.
UNT turned to the junior to carry its offense on a cold and rainy night and saw him come through. Easly had 16 carries for 76 yards in the first half alone and went over the 100-yard mark early in the second half.
Easly came into the night having rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown.
