Best in Texas offseason series: Longhorns, Aggies lead the 'best team' race, but this pattern bodes well for TCU

SportsDay's panel of college bloggers recently voted to decide which team in Texas should be called "the best" heading into the 2019 football season. The top team on their ballots received 12 points, second-best received 11 points and so on.

Here's a look at our offseason Best in Texas poll.

The Breakdown

Texas, 81 points: The Longhorns are coming off a 10-4 season and a Sugar Bowl victory, while also returning star quarterback Sam Ehlinger and playmakers Collin Johnson and Keaontay Ingram.
