The North Carolina baseball team made it back to the College World Series for the first time in five years in 2018. It didn’t look like UNC would always get there, however. A rocky start, an injury to the ace of the pitching staff and an inconsistent bullpen all threatened to doom the Tar Heels, but head coach Mike Fox’s ball club banded together to post a 44-20 record.
