CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The No. 10 North Carolina women's soccer team will host UNCW at Dorrance Field on Sunday, Aug. 21, at 1 p.m. The game will be streamed on the ACC Network Extra.
The Tar Heels are coming off a season-opening 3-0 win over No. 11 Tennessee on Thursday, giving Carolina its eighth consecutive triumph in its initial match of the season. UNC out-shot the Lady Volunteers 24-12 with Aleigh Gambone, Tori Hansen, and Avery Patterson each netting a goal.
Goalkeepers Emmie Allen and Marz Josephson combined to record the clean sheet with each recording four saves and playing 45 minutes apiece.
