CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The University of North Carolina women's soccer team will host 2021 Atlantic 10 regular season champion VCU in an exhibition match Sunday, August 7, at 11 a.m. at Dorrance Field.
Admission is free.
It's the first of two exhibition games for the Tar Heels, who are ranked No. 10 in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll. Carolina will welcome 2021 NCAA Tournament runner-up BYU, ranked No. 3 in the preseason, to Chapel Hill on August 13.
The Tar Heels return 10 players that started 11 or more games last season led by second-team All-America defender Maycee Bell.
