CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The 10th-ranked North Carolina women's soccer team will close out its exhibition season Saturday, Aug. 13, against No. 3 BYU at 6 p.m. on Dorrance Field. Admission is free.
The Cougars return eight starters from the 2021 team that went 17-5-2 last season and finished ranked No. 2 after an NCAA College Cup runner-up finish, losing to Florida State on penalty kicks in the national championship match.
"This is a preseason scrimmage made in heaven and I appreciate coach Jennifer Rockwood bringing her team across the country to play," UNC head coach Anson Dorrance said.
