Tar Heel freshman Inez Ng shot a 5-under-par 67 and the University of North Carolina women's golf team shot 12-under 276 Wednesday to tie the best round in school history on the final day of the 2023 NCAA Pullman (Wash.) Regional at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club.
Ng, playing in her first tournament of the spring and third as a Tar Heel, finished one stroke off the best round in Carolina's NCAA regionals history, a 66 by Ashley Prange in the second round in 2003.
Ng made six birdies and only one bogey, which came on her final hole of the round to earn a share of 17th place.
